Before a single wall comes down, every material is selected and ordered — flooring, cabinetry, hardware, plumbing fixtures, window coverings, everything. This eliminates the most common cause of remodeling delays and budget overruns.

The design fee covers full design boards with proposed finishes, renderings, elevations, floor plans, and a comprehensive trade-by-trade estimate. If you move forward with the project, the $350 is applied directly to your design fee.

Timeline varies by scope. Bathroom renovations typically run 3–6 weeks; kitchen remodels 6–10 weeks. Because all materials are pre-ordered during the Pre-Construction Phase, timelines are more predictable than a typical remodel.

Yes. B Home Design is fully licensed and insured. All trade partners we work with are also licensed and vetted — we only recommend contractors we have used in our own homes.

We evaluate on a case-by-case basis. If your contractor meets our standards and Brittany can coordinate effectively with them, we're open to collaboration. We'll discuss this during your consultation.
